About the Role
A major logistics and air-freight organization needs an Accounting Manager to step in during a maternity leave and keep the accounting engine moving. You'll get a full training runway through December and January before taking the lead during the leave period starting February 2026.

This is hands-on, high-visibility work where accuracy, speed, and ownership are everything.

Timeline
* Interviews start next week

What You'll Handle
* Journal entries
* Bank reconciliations
* Account reconciliations
* Month-end close
* Payment processing (checks, bills, expenses)
* Maintaining bank accounts (transfers, positive pay)
* Partnering with Accounting to keep workflow smooth during the leave

What You Need
* Strong QuickBooks fluency
* Solid accounting fundamentals across JE's, reconciliations, and month-end
* Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, distribution, or any high-volume operations environment is a big plus
* Ability to learn quickly and work independently after training
* 4 to 8 years of experience ideal for this type of assignment
