Job Description

Looking for a Senior Project Engineer to spearhead technical execution on a groundbreaking embedded cryptographic development program dedicated to safeguarding national and allied interests. Ideal candidate with collaborate with experts across firmware, software, systems, and electrical engineering disciplines to drive execution by organizing tasks, managing resources, and surmounting challenges. 
 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Active or recently (within 12 months) active US Government Secret Security Clearance  required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in multi-disciplined team environments in Project Engineering/Technical Manager roles or similar capacities.
  • Understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process for Engineering & Manufacturing Development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in full lifecycle product development in both waterfall and agile methodologies and configuration management of produced artifacts.
  • Execution of full ruggedized product development from inception to fielding utilizing Embedded Software and Firmware on System-on-Chip technology.
  • Technical expertise in Software and/or Firmware development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Cryptographic Product Development and programmatic milestones such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc.
  • Background in DoD Communications Security and/or field use.
  • Knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Electronic Key Management System (EKMS).
  • Familiarity with EKMS Tier 2 Applications and Tier 3 Electronic Key Fill Devices.
  • COMSEC Trained/Briefed.
  • NSA High Assurance Certification Experience.
  • FIPS 140-3 Experience.
 
Direct Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000 DOE
 
 
All work must be done in Carrollwood, FL (Greater Tampa)
