Daily Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders to understand project demands, long-term strategy, commercial opportunities, and the end-to-end supply chain.
- Develop, own, and execute a road map of projects aimed at optimizing the cost and the supply flexibility of our product purchases.
- Become an expert on the design, function, and operation of Watt.IO; represent needs to new suppliers and partners.
- Track and continuously drive improvement on KPIs such as cost reduction and time to value.
- Develop relationships with Motive's existing supply base as well as own and drive the qualification of new suppliers.
- Fully execute on long term supplier partnerships that are aligned with Motive's strategic direction.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical).
- 4+ years of practical supply chain management and strategic sourcing experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, between Engineering, Projects, and Suppliers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Has a do-whatever-it-takes attitude, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and can deliver project deliverables on time
