Job Description
What You Will Do:
We are looking for a Stress Engineer to create beautiful Aircraft interiors for VIP's and Heads of State. Imagine designing 4000 sq. ft of LUXURY home in the SKY!!!
- Review engineering drawings for structural integrity and compliance with FAA regulations
- Complete stress analysis documents to show compliance to FAA regulations
- Utilize classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Modeling techniques
- Generate engineering technical documents, assist in performance of laboratory and aircraft testing
- May perform as functional 'Lead' for stress team on specific project(s)
Job Requirements
What You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Engineering or equivalent, minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- NASTRAN Modeling and FEMAP experience desired
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, write technical reports and correspondence
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products and Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD)
- Aviation background and aircraft interior industry experience desired
