Job Description
Summary
Senior Financial Analyst partners closely with our Finance org. (Budgeting, Forecasting & Actuals Review), in-depth Comp & Benefit Forecasting & Reporting, the ideal candidate must have strong analytical thinking capabilities and be able to multitask, prioritize, and proactively provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis and support of sales and standard margin results, including but not limited to mix analysis, volume, cost, and pricing decisions.
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes & models to provide meaningful information to internal customers based on various decision and actions.
- Lead Operational projects supporting Business Unit strategic planning including capacity analysis, make/buy decisions, capital planning and material/labor/Overhead cost scenarios.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to existing Operational and Commercial Business Unit plans
- Partner with internal customers to analyze profitability for Business Unit.
- Identify root cause of monthly financial variances, communicate actuals, and forecast, with accompanying "stories" to the Financial and Operational leadership teams.
- Review and present financial information to internal customers, providing recommendations for maintaining and increasing profitability.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.
- Easily adapts to changing needs of finance and operational departments, and able to create meaningful ad hoc "what-if" financial analysis.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; Operations or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening).
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $100-115K DOE
