Job Description
Our client wants to change the world, and they have already done it once. Our client has been building encrypted software since before the first iPhone was released.
They are committed to building secure and reliable software that protects their customers' data. Their approach is fundamentally different from most mainstream security companies. Instead of adding layers of security on top of an insecure system, they build software that is inherently secure.
Our client builds need-to-know technology that supports customers working in hostile environments. Traditional systems trust IT infrastructure to maintain the whole security system, even though the news is rife with evidence that this model does not work. Their software combines end to end encryption with a distributed ledger (aka Blockchain) technology to offer best-in-class security with no backdoors.
Job Requirements
What We Need
Someone that will not be afraid to dive in headfirst into a growing team and burgeoning field. You are technically proficient, consistently inquisitive and can communicate at all levels of an organization. This individual will be the support system for our Solutions group.
There is a strong preference for candidates living in Northern Virginia.
What You'll Bring
- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work
- Work with customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements
- Understand and manage demonstration projects where necessary to prove applicability for customer problem sets
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance
- Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands
- Demonstrable experience in writing code, creating automations, or prototyping hardware or software. This can be a formal work project or a side project.
- Help clients solve problems with product usage
- Strong team-oriented mentality. You have open ears to new ideas and can communicate with your colleagues effectively
- 6 years' experience (both education and practical) in either:
- Decentralized systems (i.e. blockchain)
- Cybersecurity
- SATCOM
- Demonstrable experience in communicating complex technical topics to laymen or experts in other fields
- Demonstrable experience in building and presenting technical presentation/sales material
- Ability to rapidly become conversant in unfamiliar technologies relevant to customers for success
- An inquisitive mindset
- Holder of a current US security clearance, or willingness to go through the clearance process
- Preferably located in the Washington DC area. Individuals in Colorado Springs or Los Angeles are encouraged to apply as well.

Compensation: $120k-$155k DOE
