Requirements
BS or MS in EE, CPE or equivalent degree.
5+ years of embedded hardware development experience.
Aerospace-specific experience is preferred.
Skilled in analog circuits, switching power supplies, and SPICE simulation
Knowledge of common data bus peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet).
Competency with standard test equipment: oscilloscope, power supply, multi-meter, logic analyzer.
Ability to rework circuit boards with surface mount technology.
System debug skills.
Schematic capture and PCB layout (preferably Altium).
Knowledge of PCB layout best practices.
Meticulous design documentation, and attention to detail.
Proficient communication skills and ability to provide and receive constructive criticism.
Desires
Some coding and debug of embedded microcontrollers in C/C++
Experience with FPGA hardware and HDL languages (VHDL Preferred)
Experience with Xilinx FPGA toolset
Some exposure to RF system design and test
