Job Description
Summary
We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. you will work closely with the controllers, supporting daily, weekly, and monthly operations across various sites. Your responsibilities will include invoicing, account reconciliations, cash forecasting, and assisting with year-end audit preparation. If you possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of GAAP.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the controllers and support the daily, weekly, and monthly work for multiple sites
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Produces payroll by initiating computer processing, printing checks, verifying finished product.
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; Operations or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening).
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range- $85-95K DOE
