Purpose and Scope:

The Scoping Engineer is responsible for the compilation of a competitive and complete bid. They may work on a quantity of projects in multiple markets nationwide.

Responsibilities:

Attends job walks and becomes familiar with project scope.
Calculates man-hours needed and material take-offs.
Work with subcontractors for outside services/trades required.
Produces bids covering SOW, that is complete, organized and meets requirements as outlined in RFP.
Submits bids to supervisor for review.
All other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Skills / Other:

Mathematical aptitude.
Learn and utilize vendor portals.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to work with a team.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects concurrently.

Education/ Training:

High School graduate or equivalent, required.
Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
Able to read blueprints

Experience:

2-3 years of industry experience.

Compensation: $100K-105K
