Quality Supervisor
Job Description
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality control measures and standards within the organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving the quality of products, processes, and services. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and leadership abilities are essential to the success of the company's quality management efforts. The position follows a Pitman Schedule, consisting of a rotating 12-hour shift pattern with every weekend off.

Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily performance of QC staff
- Lead, motivate, and train QC personnel to achieve department and company objectives
- Lead or support Quality department projects as assigned, and assist Engineering and Manufacturing as needed
- Investigate root causes of customer complaints and implement corrective actions when required
- Propose, promote, and champion initiatives to improve quality, processes, and products
- Eliminate process variation and product defects through innovative solutions
- Maintain ISO-based quality systems
- Implement and manage systems for statistical analysis and control of all products, including raw materials, WIP, non-conforming materials, and finished goods
- Ensure customer requirements are consistently met
- Develop methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Actively support Lean Manufacturing initiatives using available tools and technologies
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Develop and present KPI reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally

- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Solid project management skills
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma, and Total Quality fundamentals
- Proficiency in Excel
Traits
- Detail oriented
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mistake-proofing skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, related field, or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years in Quality Assurance required
- 5 years in PV manufacturing or a PV-related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years in supervision/management required
Additional Information
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $78,000 - $85,000 annually
