Job Description

Motive is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Project Manager to join our team in Tustin, CA. This position is responsible for managing private wireless network projects for federal/defense and commercial customers, with a strong emphasis on telecommunications and private cellular networks.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Manage private wireless network installation projects, including those integrated into larger construction projects, within company and project management office (PMO) established goals for quality, safety, timeliness, budget, and profitability.
Oversee Request for Proposal (RFP) and bidding efforts to capture federal projects.
Manage project scope, including change management and delivery strategies.
Coordinate the activities of project team members at multiple locations and on multiple projects. Manage customer and stakeholder relationships.
Participate in project estimation, proposal development, and business development activities.
Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools.
Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and management regarding key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
Recommend and execute corrective actions to handle project compliance.

Required

Proven experience in project management with a focus on telecommunications, particularly private cellular networks.
Experience identifying and responding to RFPs for federal business opportunities.
Familiarity with administrative processes such as supplier management, budgeting, managing change orders, directing/creating technical documentation, and other areas adjacent to project management.
Knowledge of modern telecommunications and project management tools and software.
Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project/schedule management software.
Excellent speaking, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, especially Excel).
Experience supervising installation teams at multiple locations.
Ability to work with diverse individuals, including cross-functional teams (i.e., network, finance, etc.).
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance within 180 days.

Desired

Experience bidding and managing contracted projects for the US Federal Government.
Hands-on experience in supporting and implementing wireless/cellular telecommunications systems.
Experience with BuilderTrend, Procore, or Bluebeam.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance.
Current PMI Project Management Professional certification.
BA in business or a related discipline.

Pay: $100,000 - $130,000/yr
