Job Description
Top aerospace company is looking to add (2) Project Engineers to their growing team in Redmond, WA.
Ideal candidates will provide leadership in support of program tasks and hardware technology development test efforts. The successful candidate may support both development and production programs. Among the duties will be customer presentations and submittals, as well as coordinating activities with internal organizations such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and at least nine (9) years experience (fourteen (14) years for Sr. Specialist level) in propulsion at the thruster or system level (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Some travel may be required within the United States to customers and suppliers.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience with rocket engine or electric propulsion technology development is preferred.
- A solid understanding of applicable engineering principles, business practices, and experience working directly with hardware in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with mono-propellant, bi-propellant, and rocket propulsion systems desired.
