Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee projects from start to finish
Partner with clients to determine the scope of work and create solutions
Concept / Project Design
Process Design
Fabrication Detail Design
Materials Estimating
Materials Purchasing
Scheduling and Management of complete project
Design: Combine all design specifications outlined in sales proposals with engineering principals to create conceptual layouts for our systems and associated equipment and tooling fixtures.
Detailing: Create mechanical details for our fabrication shop and machine shop utilizing AutoCAD.
Technical Documentation: Create assembly and installation drawings including bills of material and hardware lists. Responsible for the selection of required bearings, seals, gearboxes, pumps and other mechanical components and hardware.
Shop interaction: Communicate with manufacturing and assembly staff to answer questions regarding your designs.
Job Requirements
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5-7 Years Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Expert at Solidworks
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering
Expertise in AutoCad/ Drafting Skills
Mechanical and Process Design Experience
Effective Writing, Speaking and Presentation Skills
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Strong visualization skills
Strong mathematical skills
Strong computer skills
Five years minimum experience and proven track record designing and detailing industrial machinery.
Experience in the design and fabrication of the following equipment's: Plating Lines, Washer systems, Tanks, Piping, Water Treatment Systems, Pump and Filtration Skids.
Knowledge of the following Specifications: AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.1 & B31.3.
Proficient in ACAD to design and develop mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word to develop operation and maintenance manuals.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to develop mechanical component material list.
Hands on type engineer to oversee system installation and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
Strong communication skills are expected.
Ambitious, proactive, thrive on challenge and hard work, with a demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects.
Expertise in 3D and 2D Drafting, P&ID experience is a plus
