Production Supervisor I
Job Description
A fast-growing marine technology company is building high-performance electric boats to replace outdated gas-powered platforms. By designing hulls, batteries, cooling systems, firmware, and software as one integrated system, the team delivers cleaner, quieter, and more reliable watercraft using modern, aerospace- and automotive-inspired manufacturing. Production is scaling to meet growing demand.
Who We're Looking For
We are hiring a Production Supervisor I to lead second-shift manufacturing operations at a Los Angeles facility, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This hands-on role is well suited for someone early in their leadership career who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. The role reports into senior production leadership and is accountable for daily execution and production targets.
- Lead and support a team of production technicians on second shift
- Organize, assign, and track daily work against production schedules
- Monitor safety, quality, timekeeping, and shop standards
- Partner with engineering and production leadership to align on priorities and timelines
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback for technicians
- Maintain tooling and consumable inventory for the shift
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and workflow
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior experience leading a team, shift, or project
- Willingness to work hands-on when needed
- Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in real time
- Availability to work 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
- Composite manufacturing experience
- Aerospace background strongly preferred
- Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
