Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly-dynamic mixed-signal and power electronics (power management) team within Broadcom. This position involves bench testing various power products such linear regulators (LDOs), switch-mode (DC/DC) convertors, battery chargers, rectifier, wireless charging, ADC, and other analog IPs. The position is based in Irvine California.
You will be involving in the testing new products in the area of wireless charging and general power related IPs. You will be involved both manual bench testing as well as develop and build automated bench test setups. These test setups are for bench characterization of IP blocks such as LDOs (voltage regulator) and DC/DC convertors. Automated test setups involve programming bench power supplies, electronic loads, DMM, temperature chambers, and more. Python language is preferred, but other text languages are okay.
Responsibilities:
Bench testing new power-related IPs (linear regulator and switching-mode regulator)
Building automated bench test setups, include programming
Executing tests (running automated tests) over multiple parts and temperature.
Analyze test data for anything out-of-spec or unusual.
Identify bugs through bench testing
Bench testing and verification power management products (manual testing).
Write test reports for customers
