Job Description
Inspect OSP Construction of a large OSP Builds in the Southern California market. QA/QC Manager will verify the network build work that has been completed and capture the additional field work needed for completion of each segment. Verify the work was completed correctly in the field and communicate daily updates to the project management team.
Position oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual field work, which includes trenching & excavations, boring, placement of hand-holes, vaults, fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration activities, which includes As-Built's and project closeout documentation to confirm any red-line changes have been incorporated into the final design and that all project completion requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
Field Activities to include:
* Perform walkouts pre/post-construction, including photos.
* Perform real time field QA with internal teams, subcontractor & client interface.
* Perform QC verification after job completion.
* Verify as-builts.
* Troubleshoot any build-out issues in the field.
* Verify that internal teams & subcontractors have the necessary PPE gear to perform work.
* Identify permitting requirements as needed.
* Communicate with any customers/residences in the path of construction.

* Strong understanding of underground construction, boring, micro trenching, and fiber placement
* Computer proficiency and Microsoft tools to create, manage, and present data and report to various stakeholders and management.
* Strong communication skills
* Perform job functions both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
* Must be able to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day.
* Strong leadership skills to mentor and influence internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
* Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client contractual requirements.
* Ability to organize and prioritize projects.
* Strong understanding of underground construction, boring, micro trenching, and fiber placement

Compensation: $72K - 85K
