Job Description
Great opportunity at a premier Motorsports company. Looking for a student (Junior/Senior working towards their degree) that can work onsite at least 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support, administration and troubleshooting for Windows based services, including Active Directory Users and Computers, Group Policy Management, DNS and DHCP services
- Provide support for administration and configuration of Windows NTFS and shared permissions
- Provide support for server security services including Windows server updates patch management and log analysis
- Support client security services and firewall and network protection
- Experience with Microsoft products, including Teams and PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure environment, including Virtual Machines, Azure File Sync, BLOB storage, backing up and restoring Virtual Machines (VMs), Network security groups, load balancers, Just-In-Time access
- Support Server and Client hardware and software
- Utilize monitoring and diagnostic tools to maintain reliable network performance and aid in quick issue resolution/failover solutions
- Provide support with implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LANs, WANs, WLAN and VPN networks
- Knowledge of network subnets, VLANs, 802.1x authentication and network routing
- Experience with configuring network switches
- Proactively identifying issues and provide research and recommended solutions for technical problems
Job Requirements
Qualifications include:
- Junior/Senior working towards their degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or similar), Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of network administration experience, ideally in a fast-paced network environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lb. and Able to work at least 24 hours a week
- Strong team player.
- Excellent communicator.
- Self-organized.
- Self-motivated.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced high-pressure motorsports environment.
- Willing to work long hours to hit deadlines.
Pay rate $25/hr
