Skills:
- Requires the ability to innovate new hardware and integration of high pressure fluid systems with general supervision.
- Experience with liquid and gaseous pressurized systems is helpful (tanks, fluid routing, sealing devices such as o-rings and metallic seals, valves and regulators)
- Experience with testing and qualification of mechanical hardware is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Creo or Solidworks CAD geometry-based modeling is desired.
- Experience using the Windchill product life-cycle management system is desired.
- Experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 is required.
- Mechanical engineering background with knowledge and understanding of fluid flow principles is desired.
- Experience with aerospace hardware is beneficial. - General component and system level knowledge of chemical rocket propulsion hardware is desirable.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, brazing, machining, heat treating) is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Power Point) is required.

Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or an appropriate discipline, and five (5) to nine (9) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - An advanced degree or coursework toward an advanced degree is a plus.
