As a Master Machinist, you'll work with mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to create precision tooling components and perform machining rework on critical aerospace parts.

Tools for Liftoff:
* $30.00 to $55.00+ per hour

Schedule: Flexible either four 10-hour days or a standard Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (approximate)
Your Flight Path Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses independently
* Use your own strategy for clamping, holding, and machining to achieve optimal outcomes
* Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
* Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
* Maintain adherence to production schedules and dispatch lists
* Stage materials, tools, and fixtures for efficient workflow
* Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve processes, and reduce cycle times
* Use your own strategy for clamping, holding, and machining to achieve optimal outcomes

Job Requirements
Pre-Launch Checklist:
• 5+ years of manual machining experience preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.
• Skilled in selecting and setting up tool holders, cutters, fixtures, boring bars, inserts
• Familiarity with AS9100 or other QMS preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw accurate conclusions
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.
