Full-time, Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Job Summary
We are a custom furniture manufacturer looking for a Machine Sander to support production finishing. This role uses sanding machines, not hand sanding. The right candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment focused on high-quality, custom-built furniture.
This is not general labor. We are looking for someone with prior machine sanding or production finishing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sanding machines to finish custom furniture components
- Inspect pieces for surface quality and consistency
- Adjust machine settings as needed to meet finish specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow safety and quality standards at all times
- Work closely with production and finishing teams to meet deadlines
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Experience operating sanding machines or similar production equipment
- Manufacturing or woodworking environment experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
