Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and documentation throughout the warehouse and to internal teams and customers. This role supports freight coordination, local deliveries, inventory accuracy, and service kit readiness. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, customer-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Perform core warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, staging, stocking, and order fulfillment.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and materials.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including sit-down counterbalance forklifts and walkie electric pallet jacks (training provided as needed).
  • Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers.
  • Prepare, complete, and maintain shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, warehouse documentation, and transaction logs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of service kit parts to support the Service team.
  • Charge and maintain batteries and warehouse equipment as required.
  • Support Customer Service and Service teams by staging materials, preparing orders, and coordinating the movement of parts and equipment.
  • Work safely around live DC power systems (2V–120V), using proper PPE and following training to take voltage measurements when required.
  • Provide professional customer support and assist in resolving issues as needed.
  • Travel locally for deliveries, pickups, and occasional customer site visits (no overnight travel).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and operational needs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience in a non-production warehouse environment.
  • Ability to safely operate, or willingness to be trained to operate, PIT equipment, including:
    • Sit-down counterbalance forklift
    • Walkie electric pallet jack
  • Willingness to work around live electrical systems and take voltage measurements (training and PPE provided).
  • Working knowledge of lead-acid batteries; experience in reserve or power systems environments is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and freight carriers.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to slide or move items weighing up to 200 lbs, as required.
  • Frequent walking and standing.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, and squatting.
  • Occasional kneeling, crouching, turning, and twisting.
  • Seldom to occasional crawling and climbing, as required.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, requiring dexterity, grip strength, and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to climb and work on ladders occasionally.
  • Vision requirements include frequent use of near and far vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color vision.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that is primarily non-climate-controlled, with regular exposure to heat and cold.

Pay: $25-$27/hr
