General Warehouse Support II - Job Summary

Essential Job Functions:

• Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner.
• Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing.
• Manages the reporting of scrap cable.
• Identifies small parcel, full truckload, load small parcel, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.
• Process packages via the small parcel shipping terminal.
• Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures, and confirms will call orders.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
• Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Additional job duties can be added at any time.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a standard forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Have adaptability and be open to change.
• Clock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company policy.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and reach overhead.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with organizational skills.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Work overtime as required based on business needs.
• Minimum Education (or substitute experience): High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience required: 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write in English and an understanding of Basic Math skills.
