Job Description

General Warehouse Support II - Job Summary

Our General Warehouse Support II will be receiving and putting away product, small parcel shipping, will call administrative support duties, prioritization of cable cutting, and scrap cable management.

Essential Job Functions:

Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner.
Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing.
Manages the reporting of scrap cable.
Identifies small parcel, full truckload, load small parcel, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.
Process packages via the small parcel shipping terminal.
Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures, and confirms will call orders.
Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Additional job duties can be added at any time.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to operate a standard forklift.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Have adaptability and be open to change.
Clock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company policy.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and reach overhead.
Work in a fast-paced environment with organizational skills.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Work overtime as required based on business needs.
Minimum Education (or substitute experience): High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience required: 1 year of warehouse experience.
Ability to read and write in English and an understanding of Basic Math skills.

Temp to hire

$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
