Job Description
Our client is a fully integrated environmental construction company delivering and implementing turnkey self-perform construction solutions to environmental challenges in soil, vapor, air and water (groundwater, stormwater, water/wastewater). Due to growth, they have an immediate need for a Foreman in their Anaheim, CA office.
Purpose of Role
The Foreman directs field personnel, equipment, subcontracts and material flow required to meet specific job assignment. Responsible for interpretation, layout, inspection and safety of all work installed on the assigned project. Tracks productivity and quality of work assigned and advises client Representative.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Assists with planning and implementation of weekly and daily schedule of activities
- Assists with determining crew size based on work scope and schedule requirements
- Assures delivery of materials, equipment, and special tools
- Maintains crew size consistent with schedule for maximum efficiency
- Develops alternate work plan in cases of work delays Innovates improved methods of installation
- Interfaces with suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors and inspections
- Assists with managing record keeping for field payroll, material receipt, change orders and progress reports
- Has complete knowledge of specifications and drawings for contract work scope
- Monitor and report on project schedule and budget
- Enforce site specific safety program and conduct daily safety huddle
- Implement Quality Assurance Requirements and submit reports
- Documents and enforces company policies regarding workers with unsatisfactory work performance
- Identify out of scope work and changed work conditions
- Assists project managers and superintendents with daily information of job activities and change orders
- Assist with coordination and interfacing with client representative
- Perform all other tasks necessary for overall project success
Job Requirements
- Qualified journeyman with a minimum 5 years of experience in environmental or demolition
- Environmental Construction industry experience (Environmental excavation, grading, demolition, asbestos abatement and or system installations)
- Health and Safety knowledge (previous additional training certifications of any kind)
- Meets all company general qualifications for employment
- 40HR HAZWOPER, 30 HR OSHA & IOHR OSHA is preferred (additional training may be required)
- Meets expectations of Client Representative Ideal
Pay Rate Range: up to $45/hr DOE
