Job Description

Premier Motosports company is looking for a Flyin Trackside Engineer on a remote basis.  This position is needed for 1 year with a possibility of a year extension.

Responsible for providing track-side engineering support to a motorsports company's teams, including: collect some competitor data, recording, monitoring and analyzing performance data.  The position may be done remotely and will require traveling to races and selected events.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. degree in (Mechanical/Electrical) Engineering with relevant automotive focus in studies and activities preferred.
  • 7+ years of motor sports experience 
  • Must have strong data analysis, problem-solving and report writing skills.
  • Ability to utilize on-car data analysis software (logged data, telemetry, etc.); some program software (MATLAB/Simulink, C+, Visual Basic, etc.) and analyze with simulation tools such as FEA, CFD, etc.
  • Must have the ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision, be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
  • Heavy traveling required to track and test events

Weekly rate is $1,634 - $2,403 DOE
