Job Description
Responsible for providing track-side engineering support to a motorsports company's teams, including: collect some competitor data, recording, monitoring and analyzing performance data. The position will require traveling to races and selected events.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in (Mechanical/Electrical) Engineering with relevant automotive focus in studies and activities preferred.
- 1 to 20 years of experience (Formula SAE or similar automotive or motorsports related projects a plus for Jr. Candidates).
- Must have strong data analysis, problem-solving and report writing skills.
- Ability to utilize on-car data analysis software (logged data, telemetry, etc.); some program software (MATLAB/Simulink, C+, Visual Basic, etc.) and analyze with simulation tools such as FEA, CFD, etc.
- Must have the ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision, be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
