Job Description

Purpose and Scope: The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components of solar photovoltaic and battery installation projects.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

Performs electrical testing and provides documentation.
Handles tasks involving any or all of the following:
- DC Meggar
- VOC
- Ground Continuity/ Ground resistance
- IV Curve
- NEC knowledge
- Article 250
- Article 690
- CBC knowledge
- Understanding of voltage drop
- Understanding of temperature derating
- Create material lists
- Understanding of polarity, grounding and terminations
- Bend conduit
- 4-point saddle
- Back-to-back 90
All other duties as required

Education/ Training:

High School graduate or equivalent, required.
OSHA 10 certified.
CPR certified.
Trained in proper use of PPE.
Ability to calculate conduit fill

Experience:

2 Years solar/electrical experience, strongly preferred.

Pay: $33 - 40/hr
