Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing test strategies for complex electronic systems.
- Using advanced test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, VNAs).
- Testing across analog, digital, RF, and optical domains.
- Developing automated test scripts (Python, MATLAB).
- Creating detailed documentation and test reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Staying updated with industry standards.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Years of Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or satellite communications.
Domain Expertise:
- Experience with RF systems, optical communications, and digital/analog circuit testing.
- Familiarity with space-qualified hardware or military-grade electronics is often preferred.
Testing & Tools:
- Proficiency with test equipment: Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
- Experience developing automated test scripts using Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
Certifications (optional but valuable):
- Security Clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret) if working on classified projects.
- Certifications like Certified Test Engineer (CTE) or IPC standards knowledge.
