Job Description
We're supporting a fast-growing aerospace manufacturer seeking an EHS and Facilities Lead to build and manage world-class environmental, health, safety, and facility programs. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing compliance, risk management, and facility operations across manufacturing, R&D, and office environments.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning with on-the-floor execution-driving safety culture, operational readiness, and scalability as the organization expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulatory requirements
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
- Conduct regular risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Champion a proactive safety culture through training and engagement
- Develop and maintain emergency response and action plans
- Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, and infrastructure projects
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and facility services
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support facility expansion and space planning initiatives
The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in EHS and facilities management
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience within aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, or advanced production settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, and Cal/EPA standards
- Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proven track record managing multi-site operations (preferred)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on, proactive approach with strong leadership and influencing ability
