Job Description

The Director of Project Management plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of solar energy projects for our company. This position requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of the solar energy industry. The Director of Project Management will lead a team of project managers, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient completion of solar energy projects from inception to completion. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering/Permitting, Procurement/Supply Chain, Construction and the customer to develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

* Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget to achieve successful project outcomes.

* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project management team.

* Utilize strong financial acumen to manage project budgets, analyze financial reports, and make data-driven decisions.

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in the solar, energy storage, and EVSE sectors.

* Develop a training program for new hires as well as continuing education for the project management team.


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

* 5+ years of experience in a project management role with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.

* PMP certification is preferred.

* Background in solar, energy storage, or EVSE is preferred.

* Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Pay: $150,000 - $175,000/yr
