Job Description
Responsibilities include developing processes to aid in the collection, storage and analysis of measurement and metadata from a variety of sources with the goal of supporting decisions by adding insight or improving the process.
Job Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other applicable field or 5 years of similar work experience.
1-3 years of experience using programming, mathematical or statistical methods to gain insight to data or improve efficiency.
Previous experience managing and storing data.
Previous technical report writing experience.
Previous project management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in team environment.
Ability to be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
Experience with data collection systems or motorsport is a plus.
FSAE Experience preferred
MUST HAVE:
Proficiency with software used for data analysis and visualization (Python, MatLab, Power Bi/ Tableau, Databricks)
Experience with object-oriented software design principles
(Python or C# preferred)
Experience with API's and web stack concepts.
Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google)
Experience with software version control techniques.
Understanding of data storage techniques preferred.
Hourly rate: $35-$45 per hour DOE
