Position Overview
As the Corporate Manager of Engineering and Maintenance, you will oversee the engineering and maintenance functions across multiple sites. Your primary focus will be to ensure the effective planning, coordination, and execution of projects and maintenance activities that support company operations. Leading a team of professionals, you will promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, enhancing both operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage and direct engineering projects such as new installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement maintenance strategies aimed at optimizing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and extending asset life.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and oversee the performance of the engineering and maintenance team to foster a culture of high performance.
- Budget Oversight: Manage engineering and maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities align with regulatory codes and safety standards.
- Asset Management: Establish an effective asset management program, including preventative maintenance scheduling, equipment inspections, and spare parts inventory.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for process improvement using data and analytics to enhance engineering and maintenance practices.
- Vendor Relations: Partner with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of quality goods and services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to streamline processes and meet business goals.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a diverse team
- Expertise in engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)
- Proven project management skills with experience leading engineering projects from planning to completion
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data-driven decision-making
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Budget management experience with a focus on cost control and optimization
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to engineering and maintenance

- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects, current issues, and future installations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field); a Master's degree or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering and maintenance management in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $115,000-$130,000 per year (DOE)
