Job Description
Accurate Payroll Processing:
- Calculate and process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for construction employees.
- Accurately calculate hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Data Entry and Management:
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Ensure accurate data entry for payroll processing.
- Collect, review, and reconcile timecards for accuracy. Compliance and Reporting:
- Process and maintain certified payroll records, including prevailing wage compliance. Prepare and submit payroll reports to customers and regulatory agencies.Ensure timely and accurate year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c, etc.).Support and Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions and issues.
Partner with accounting and HR teams on payroll-related matters - Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions and issues.
- Process and maintain certified payroll records, including prevailing wage compliance.
- Accurately calculate hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of Payroll Systems: Proficiency in using payroll software and systems. We utilize Foundation as our payroll software. Experience with Foundation or similar construction related payroll software is a MUST.
- Payroll Compliance: Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Accounting and Math Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management. Construction Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Salary 60-70k
