Job Description

Purpose: 
Configuration Management (CM) facilitates orderly identification of product attributes and maintains consistency between product configuration information, and the product.  This position shall analyze Configuration Change Data and monitor disposition activities to completion, post Configuration Change Board (CCB).  

Job Duties:
  • Perform duties of Configuration Management Administrator I as necessary.
  • Manage configuration log of disposition actions and maintain the report.
  • Coordinate with all levels of the organization, including notification of status of actions.
  • Perform daily follow-up on timeliness of configuration disposition activities and escalate to program management when projected goals are not reached.
  • Perform weekly audit of post CCB disposition regarding work in process (WIP)
  • Develop and maintain process documents to ensure clear expectations 
  • Develop and maintain metrics and key process indicators
  • Support configuration change processes in Product Data Management (PDM)
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

Job Requirements consist of education, skills, training, and competency of Internal Procedures listed and Associated Documents:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail required
  • Minimum AA degree required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing field
  • Proficient in Basic Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience a plus

Salary range $65,000-$75,000 DOE
