Job Description

We have an immediate need for a CNC Machinist for a top motorsports company.

The qualified candidate will have 3+ years of experience with CNC machining centers to manufacture components. Experience with Fanuc controllers required. Strong understanding and experience with close tolerance machining. Comprehensive knowledge of machine setup procedures. Experience generating technical and summary reports, and interpreting inspection reports.

Ability to effectively interface with multiple departments and personality types.
Good verbal and written communication ability.
Ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as in collaboration.
Ability to effectively plan projects and deliver outcomes that meet tight deadlines and quality standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Word.
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.

Job Requirements

Experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis machining methods.
Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes with live tooling.
Experience with Mazatrol is preferred.
Experience with Mazak and Makino machines preferred.
Design/Select cutting tools as needed.
Evaluate and implement continuous improvement efforts by applying lean manufacturing tools to the machining environment.
Must understand and be able to interpret drawing GD&T.
Ability to use precision measuring tools.

$30 - $40/hr. DOE
