Job Description
Our Client is looking for a CAD Manager to join our team in our Las Vegas, NV facility.
As a CAD Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our CAD processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and possess extensive experience in CAD software and management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team to success.
What You'll Do
- Manage and lead the CAD team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD designs
- Evaluate and recommend new CAD software, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation within the team
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and keep them updated on industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all CAD designs
- Act as a liaison between the Engineering team and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration
Job Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in a CAD management role, demonstrating leadership and project management skills.
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or other industry-standard tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with the company's goals.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
$90-$100k DOE
