Purpose and Scope:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for tasks involved with their scheduling, budgeting, communicating, coordinating and documenting items involved with the progress and completion of a project.
Responsibilities:
- Attends and participates in project design meetings, proposing improvements, as necessary.
- Evaluates potential problems and technical hitches and develops solutions.
- Plans and manages team goals, project schedules and incorporates new information.
- Supervises current projects and coordinates all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manages project-related paperwork ensuring all necessary documentation is current, is properly filed and stored.
- Directs project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
- Identifies and defines project requirements, scope and objectives with clients.
- Adheres to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Supports department billing.
- All other duties as required
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
*Must be local to Canoga Park*
Job Requirements
Skills / Other:
- Billing Experience
- Very strong organizational skills, and able to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits Team management and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, even under pressure.
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Education/ Training:
- High School graduate or equivalent, combined with direct, relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area, preferred.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially excel.
- Working knowledge of Dynamics. Prism and Fuse software a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 Years of prior, direct experience involving coordination.
Compensation: $20-25/hr
