Your Part in the Flight Plan:
* Drive quality planning and execution within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing
* Lead root cause and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) on sustainable solutions
* Support MRB activities, disposition of nonconformances and rework/repair collaboration
* Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends; develop dashboards and corrective actions
* Support First Article readiness and ongoing production quality (process control, inspections, documentation)
* Develop and improve procedures, control plans, and work instructions
* Support audits (internal, customer, registrar) and ensure ongoing compliance
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on corrective actions and quality improvements

Job Requirements
Pre-Flight Checklist:
* 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems (AS9102 a plus)
* Proven experience leading corrective actions and improving process capability
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
* Strong communication skills across shop floor, engineering, and leadership
* Comfortable using Excel and systems tools for tracking and reporting
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems (AS9102 a plus)
* Proven experience leading corrective actions and improving process capability

* Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and metrology

* Lean / continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen approach)
