Administrative Assistant - Product Development
Job Description
Product Development Administrative Support
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Pay: 22–26/hr (flexible for the right person)
About the Role
This position keeps the Product Development engine running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for order processing, documentation, factory communication, and the day-to-day details that keep materials and shipments moving on schedule. If you're organized, accurate, and steady under pressure, this is a role where your attention to detail directly protects customers, timelines, and production quality.
What You'll Handle
• Process orders, update records, and manage supporting paperwork
• Communicate with China-based partners regarding materials, shipment statuses, and order updates
• Maintain clean, accurate data across SAP (strongly preferred) and Excel
• Track deadlines, follow up on open items, and prevent delays or errors
• Support the Product Development team with admin tasks, file management, and daily coordination
• Monitor inboxes and ensure all customer, vendor, and internal emails are addressed quickly and clearly
Job Requirements
What You Bring
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• High level of accuracy and strong follow-through
• Ability to coordinate multiple moving pieces without dropping details
• Proactive communication skills, especially via email
• Solid Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
• English required; additional languages are a plus
Work Environment
• Fully onsite in the LA office, Monday–Friday
• Fast-paced and detail-heavy; accuracy is essential due to downstream impact
• Team-oriented culture with consistent day-to-day collaboration
