Program Director
Healthcare and Social Services Industry
California Based - Fully Remote
Full Time
$80,000 to $95,000 base salary
$2,500 sign on bonus plus quarterly performance bonus

Location Requirement
* Fully remote position within the state of California
* Candidate must reside in California
* Required onsite engagement three days per quarter to work directly with staff and leadership
* Occasional in state travel for meetings, trainings, and program oversight

Position Overview
* Provides strategic and operational oversight for multi county healthcare and social service programs
* Leads cross functional teams in regulated, contract driven environments
* Ensures compliance, performance metrics, and quality standards are consistently met
* Acts as a senior leader supporting program growth and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management
* Supervise program managers and multidisciplinary staff including housing teams, case management, billing, and data personnel
* Provide coaching, performance oversight, and accountability
* Strengthen team structure and operational workflow

Program Oversight and Compliance
* Oversee Cal AIM program delivery and contract adherence
* Develop and implement program work plans and standard operating procedures
* Conduct internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and utilization reviews
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state regulatory standards

Financial and Operational Management
* Monitor enrollments, service activity, and billing accuracy
* Support budget planning and financial oversight
* Ensure monthly metrics and quarterly reporting requirements are met
* Drive process improvements tied to performance outcomes

Community and Stakeholder Engagement
* Represent the organization at statewide conferences and stakeholder meetings
* Build partnerships with healthcare providers, funders, and community organizations
* Support executive leadership in program development and expansion efforts


Job Requirements

Qualifications
Experience
* Minimum ten years of experience in healthcare, homeless services, case management, or work with vulnerable populations
* Minimum six years of supervisory experience in social services or related fields
* Experience working within Cal AIM or other state funded healthcare initiatives preferred

Education and Licensure
* Master's degree required in a field eligible for licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
* Active or eligible LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC strongly preferred

Technical and Operational Skills
* Strong understanding of medical billing processes and documentation standards
* Experience managing audits, compliance reporting, and contract driven programs
* Proven ability to manage budgets and operational performance
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits
* Base salary range of $80,000 to $95,000
* $2,500 sign on bonus
* Quarterly performance bonus eligibility
