Project Manager

Job Description

Purpose and Scope: The PM is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of materials handing system installation projects (warehouse rack, platforms, conveyors, automated systems, and others); provides oversight and verification of the company safety program at project sites.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities: 
  • Creates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources. 
  • Selects and delegates tasks to qualified employees. 
  • Identifies and manages potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects * Participate in and foster positive client relations 
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics 
  • Assists in the definition of project scope and goals. 
  • Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options
  • Serves as a point of contact for teams and ensures team actions remain in synergy. 
  • Communicates with management to keep the project aligned with goals.
  •  Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain acceptable standards. 
  • Adjusts schedules and targets on the project, as needed. 
  • Motivates for on-time project completion. 
  • Manages stakeholders and subcontractors. 
  • All other duties as required.

Education/ Training: 
  • * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred 
  • Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Program * Management Professional (PMP) preferred 
  • Knowledgeable of various project management methodologies (e.g.,Agile/Scrum) 
  • Engineering design, procurement, and general construction knowledge 
  • Working knowledge of project management cost systems 
  • Working knowledge of project scheduling & software (Sitetracker is a plus) 
  • General construction knowledge

Pay: $65k - $75k/yr
